FractureMale - Thylacine
Notes
○ Design is symmetrical apart from scars! ○ Outer eye/schlera is an off-white/yellowish not pure white ○ Bandage on his hind leg is optional! He often wears it as support for his leg, although there is nothing wrong with it now and they are mostly just phantom pains |

Confused and trying to find his place in the world. Very quiet and contemplative, thinking rather than saying. Fracture has a curious but somewhat reckless nature, as he can tend to be a bit possessive of things that belong to him such as his territory (which led to his eventual death). Fracture often appears to be driven solely by instinct but there is a secret inquisitiveness in him that would reveal more complex thought if he were to let others in. He gets frustrated by things he doesn't understand, and he feels very out of place in the modern world he now finds himself trapped in. He tries to escape by spending time in what little natural settings there are left, secluding himself in forests and mountain ranges and preferring to be alone.

History
Fracture was originally born in Australia during the Pleistocene era, around 50,000 years ago. He led a very solitary existence for the most part, preferring to stay alone even though it made hunting and surviving more difficult. He found it hard to get along with others of his kind, however, as he was often very on edge and territorial and thus would snap at anyone who got too close. This proved to be his undoing. After a fight with a wayward thylacoleo who had stumbled upon his territory, Fracture's left hind ankle was bitten with enough force to crush the bone. He was forced to withdraw from the fight and was able to survive on meager scraps of prey left by other predators for a few days afterwards. Ultimately, however, his hunger got the best of him and Fracture eventually found himself caught in a naturally occurring tar pit trying to reach for the dead animals that had been trapped there before him. With little strength left and the lack of ability to use his fourth leg, Fracture was soon overtaken by the tar pit.
His bones and DNA, however, were preserved by the tar long after his death. This allowed scientists in the modern era to resurrect the creature in an experiment that had been originally derived from cloning but had the goal of bringing back a creature with their brain waves (and thus their personalities and thoughts) intact. Because Fracture was one of their first subjects, there were many factors of the experiment that were untested, so while his resurrection was initially labeled a success, it soon became apparent that his mind had not fully come back to him the same way it had existed before he died. While the lack of immediate dangers in this new world allowed him the time and setting to exercise higher brain functions and think in a more complex fashion, with this curiosity also came immense confusion and an overwhelming sense of grief. Fracture found he could not deal with his new surroundings and escaped from the lab he had been "born again" in, eventually settling in a forest far off from the edges of human civilization. He still has phantom pains from his broken leg, which he has realized by now did not carry over to his new body but he still feels it as if it were fresh in his mind. Fracture continues to live as isolated as he can, sometimes wishing he could interact with others of his species but finding that none exist anymore. He continues to search, though, hoping eventually he might be able to find someone he can feel comfortable connecting to.
